INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF COMO AND TICINO TO JOIN INSPIRED

London, July 3, 2017 - Inspired, a leading operator of premium schools in Europe, Australia, Africa and Latin America, is proud to announce that it has acquired the International School of Como (IS Como) and International School of Ticino (IS Ticino). Inspired acquired the International School of Europe (ISE) group back in August 2016.

IS Como (www.iscomo.com) located in Fino Mornasco near the shores of Lake Como, Italy was founded in 2002 and has contributed to the expansion of international education in Northern Italy by offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. IS Como currently consists of about 300 students aged between 3 and 16 years old from 38 nationalities. The language of instruction is English and the school is a student-centred community of internationally-minded learners, offering a balanced and challenging curriculum within a safe and nurturing environment. IS Como is an IB Diploma candidate school aiming to offer the programme from 2018.

IS Ticino (www.isticino.com) opened its doors in 2014, providing a broad and balanced international education. The school provides an outstanding IB Primary Years Programme (the only one in the Swiss Canton of Ticino) to local and expatriate students between the ages of 3 and 11 years old. The language of instruction is English, and particular emphasis is placed on celebrating the unique talents of each individual and creating a supportive and stimulating environment that enables children to play a proactive role in reaching their full potential.
