ACG STUDENTS EXCEL ON THE WORLD STAGE IN THE 2021 CAMBRIDGE AWARDS!

We are thrilled to announce that our students' remarkable 2021 academic performances have seen them receive an exceptional 25 Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards, with nine Top in World titles.

National and international honours abound for ACG senior students after the eagerly anticipated 2021 Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards were announced earlier today.

As the culmination of the academic year, these awards celebrate extraordinary accomplishment and identify the highest-performing Year 11 to 13 students in New Zealand and around the globe.

2021 has seen our students receive a phenomenal 25 Cambridge awards – including nine Top in the World accolades.

Across our four New Zealand schools, our students received:

  • 9 Top in the World titles
  • 16 Top in New Zealand honours*

Achieving the highest global Cambridge exam results, our Top in the World students excelled in Mathematics, History, English, Computer Science and Design & Technology.

Additionally, our Top in New Zealand awards covered a range of disciplines, from traditional academic studies to technology-based subjects, foreign languages, and the performing arts. Students were recognised in Combined Science, Biology, History, English, Accounting, Business Studies, Sociology, Art & Design, Digital Media & Design, Computer Science, Mandarin, Spanish, and Music.

ACG Schools CEO Clarence van der Wel couldn't be more pleased with these remarkable results.

"Our students have done exceptionally well, and I am extremely proud of each and every one of them," he confirms. "They were able to focus on their studies, despite an incredibly challenging year, and their motivation, commitment and hard work have seen them achieve at the highest level and enjoy great success on the international stage.
