ACG SCHOOLS JOIN PREMIUM GLOBAL SCHOOL GROUP, INSPIRED

31 May 2019

London and New Zealand, May 31, 2019 – Inspired, a leading global group of 51 premium schools educating over 38,000 students on five continents announced today that ACG Schools has joined its international family of schools.

ACG Schools include six leading independent schools in New Zealand, Indonesia and Vietnam providing a world-class, student-centric approach to learning, offering high academic standards and an extensive programme of sports, performing arts and technology.  ACG Schools has separated from ACG Education’s tertiary education division which provides foundational study programmes for university partners as well as a range of vocational colleges. This group has been rebranded to UP Education.

ACG’s School’s personalised approach to holistic learning where students are encouraged to discover their unique strengths and passions in academia, sports and the performing arts, made the schools a natural fit for Inspired. The addition of ACG will expand Inspired’s footprint to over 18 countries and will enable ACG students and staff to benefit from the support of world-leading educational experts and access to state of the art learning platforms.

ACG Schools CEO, Clarence van der Wel, said the partnership brought immense benefits to ACG students and staff .“They will have opportunities to participate in international exchanges with Inspired schools all over the world, share best international practice and gain access to innovative leaders at the leading edge of educational thinking.

“Inspired’s progressive approach to education is closely aligned with the ACG Schools philosophy, which makes this such an exceptional partnership.”

Inspired is led by top educationalists with experience in all major international school qualifications. Like ACG, Inspired schools are co-educational and independent, with a focus on helping students achieve their maximum potential in a nurturing, progressive academic environment.

Inspired Founder, Chairman & CEO, Nadim M Nsouli, said Inspired was honoured and excited to welcome the ACG Schools into the Inspired family. “Each of our schools, while rooted in – and contributing to - its own community, forms part of a dynamic global network, providing regular opportunities for the exchange of ideas, and of students and teachers. This is precisely the sort of global education that we know will be an advantage in tomorrow's world.” He added “this is an exciting opportunity for both Inspired and ACG and we look forward to welcoming the students, parents and staff of ACG into our family of schools. We will work with the leadership team to build upon the schools' impressive history so as to continue to provide ACG families with a world class international education."
